Chelsea fans angry with Rahman’s contract extension

Chelsea fans are incensed by the club’s decision to extend the contract of Ghanaian left-back, Baba Rahman.
The 25-year-old was given a one-year contract extension and was immediately shipped out on loan to Spanish side, Real Mallorca.

But fans of the club are disappointed in the club for handing the player another contact extension when he only played 23 times in the whole 2015/16 season when he signed for the Blues.

One supporter wrote: “Just sell the bloke and stop this loaning nonsense.”

Alex Thomas posted that it was “pure confusion” while matt Levy wrote: “Just sell him he’s useless!”

Another told the club to “free this guy”, while many “forgot he was still there”. Oliver Clarke described Rahman as: “Another player we should be selling and not loaning.”

One Blues’ follower added: “Why? just put him out of his misery man. sell the man. set him free.”

The 25-year-old Ghana international had loan spells with Bundesliga side Schalke before moving to French side Reims last term.

Rahman made his Chelsea debut in a 4-0 Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in September 2015 and has played 23 times for the club in all competitions.
